If you live in a home built between the 1950's and 1980's, and have a Federal Pacific Panel, please educate yourself on the fire hazard this could cause. Breakers may fail to trip, which can lead to an electrical fire. The breakers may also fail to shut off, even if switched to the "off" position, leading to electrical shock. Please do not attempt to correct any issues with this panel without a licensed electrician.
We went through a nightmare situation with our "builder", from stolen money, to not paying sub-contractors, to extremely excessive over spending, and finally the builder abandoned the job altogether, leaving us little to no money to hire subs to finish the job.
