As a Dealer we maintain a qualified staff of factory-trained service technicians along with an ample parts inventory. BRE is also part of Protector Plus, in which we are certified by Generac to sell, install, startup and maintain commercial Generac products up to 250kW with configurable options available. We started in 2011 as a 100% woman-owned operated small business and as such, we were particularly proud to be a dealer in Generac's American-made generators.
Our small business over time has grown into a family run business, with our son and his family joining the business. We continue to grow with highly trained, experienced electricians - not simply technicians who work under an onsite, hands-on Master Electrician.

Both her grandfather and father were electricians, and given the lack of available jobs for electricians in the current economy, Close founded Bear Rock Electric, Inc. (BRE) with her husband and Master Electrician, Chris Albrecht, to help create more employment opportunities in the local area.
Taking that entrepreneurial spirit and the word of mouth about BRE's level of excellence, Close expanded her Fleet, Staff and coverage from Maryland to opening a full-service Generac Generator Shop in Point Harbor, NC which services the Outer Banks, Southeastern Virginia, and Northeastern North Carolina.
