Keating Electric & Technologies
Our technicians receive continuing education and bring the latest knowledge of technology and safety to your job. Since our founding Keating Electric has worked with building owners, facility managers and general contractors on building renovations. In addition to commercial office buildings, educational facilities, retail and hospitality establishments, we are experienced with the special requirements of hospitals and other medical sites.

Keating Electric is available to help homeowners with anything from an electrical upgrade and circuit breaker installation to fixing faulty outlet wiring. Are you renovating your kitchen? Adding an outlet for charging your electric car? Having central air conditioning installed? Call us first. We also work on outdoor projects such as landscape lighting and pool/spa lighting.

Keating Electric professionals came to the Chappaqua Library Children's room to move wiring for the public computers. When they arrived, they found that there were unforeseen problems.
Services
And the only way we can accomplish all that is one client at a time, and one service call at a time.
Michael Keating started the business and shortly after was joined by his first employee, his nephew, Tom DeVino.
Together they have been leading a professional team committed to the highest level of customer service.
You will still find Mike around in a consulting and mentoring capacity.
Tom himself is a Master Electrician and has three additional Master Electricians working under him.
Tom has received numerous certifications within the electrical field and continues to increase his knowledge of the trade through attendance and participation in many seminars and educational programs.
Keating Electric has been a fixture on the Westchester Commercial building scene since our founding in 1988.
Experienced with projects of many sizes - from new construction to interior renovations to retrofits - we bring a wealth of expertise that will ensure your project will progress smoothly.
We work with General Contractors, Facility Managers and building owners installing everything from traditional electrical distribution panels to fire alarm wiring and even telephone and data cabling if needed.
When working on a new commercial facility, Keating Electric technicians can be relied up to work closely with the other trades, coordinating activities to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
We will make sure the work we are doing conforms to all the current electrical codes for the type of facility with an eye to being accommodating future power requirements.
Since lighting accounts for about 15 to 20% of a typical commercial building's energy use, how a building is lighted is an important consideration.
Sustainable building practices, such as retrofitting with LED lighting not only reduces the power usage of a building but pays for itself in a very short period of time making it a good choice if there is only budget for one building upgrade at a time.
Lamp Replacement - The simplest form of retrofitting is Lamp Replacement.
A quick swap should be possible because LEDs don't require a separate ballast like their fluorescent counterpart.
Whether an office, school or medical facility, chances are the current occupants of the space will have to be moved temporarily for the duration of the renovation making scheduling a high priority.
Keating Electric's technicians understand the need for clear plans and communication with the General Contractor and other trades on the job.
Whomever is quarterbacking the renovation-General Contractor, Building Owner, or Facility Manager-we will work with him/her, their engineers, purchasing agents, in house electrical staff, and security to ensure all projects are completed and done within the guidelines of the specifications and operations procedures.
