In the late 1970's the company broadened its scope by breaking into commercial construction.

As a result the business prospered and quickly out-grew the original location.
In 1983 the company office was moved to Dayton, Kentucky in the location that was once Superior Coal, a local landmark.

Mark Kramer became president and sole stock holder of Townsley Electrical Contractors in 2006 upon retirement of the company's founder, Tom Townsley.
Mark worked his way up through the ranks, first as an apprentice electrician, then journeyman and foreman, next as partner and vice president and finally as owner and president.
For this reason, Mark knows every aspect of this industry and puts all of that knowledge into every project.
