The New York State Association of Electrical Contractors, founded in 1899, is dedicated to promoting the exchange of information and ideas, fostering of business relationships and networking opportunities, development of group business and insurance programs, and the advancement of State legislative interests common among all member firms in the electrical contracting and related industries.

The State of New York approved a slight decrease in the rate for Code 5190 Electrical Wiring. It is our pleasure to announce the 2021 NYSEC Scholarship is awarded to Hailey Incorvaia of member firm J&J Sass Electric, Inc. The award is $1,000 per. Order of Business: Approval. Read update here. Since 1992 the State Association has been awarding an annual scholarship to help advance the educational pursuits of college bound students.

NYSAEC publishes a legislative newsletter to help keep our members informed of events and happenings that affect the electrical/construction industry in New York State.
Legislative Update - published periodically this newsletter contains information on legislation affecting you and your business.
Insurance Programs - group insurance programs designed specifically for the electrical industry.
Scholarship Program - The Association offers an annual scholarship (the NYSAEC Scholarship Award) to aid in the cost of educating young people for our future.
Conventions - The Association holds two conventions per year.
The meetings offer an opportunity to gain valuable information from notable speakers, while socializing with your peers in a vacation setting.
Summer meetings are held in the northeast NYC, Adirondacks, Vermont, etc. Winter conventions typically held off-shore in the Caribbean or Mexico.
